Asthma is an acute lung disease, which shrinks, narrows and swells the airways thus results in chest tightening, short breathing, severe coughing and wheezing sound. It is usually common in all ages of people but children of weak health, old age people and with weak immune system people can have it more times as compare to normal healthy people. Coughing is noticed often at night and early in the morning. When this situation occurs, symptoms of asthma get appear. Sometimes, these symptoms are so mild that they can go away by simple treatment of taking medication. But sometimes, these symptoms become worse, this situation is known as asthma attack. They are also called flare-ups or exacerbations.
